Samsung fan community is awaiting for the company to hold the next major Galaxy Unpacked event, and now it is rumored to take place in New York.
Ritually, each year, Samsung holds two major Galaxy Unpacked events, first in the early 1st half dedicated to the latest Galaxy S-series’ launch, and second in early 2nd half dedicated to the latest-generation foldable phones of the year.
The company has already successfully held the first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year back in January, and debuted the latest Galaxy S25 series. Now it is looking forward to holding the second Unpacked event of the year to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable phones next month.
To date, there’s no official confirmation regarding the exact date and venue for the Unpacked event. Meanwhile, a new series of Samsung Health events focused on runners and wearable users is giving fans a strong clue, and all roads point to New York City.
The company has announced a campaign of running-focused events taking place in New York City on July 13. It has teamed up with two of the city’s biggest running communities, including the Almost Friday Run Club and Midnight Runners New York. Noticeably, the first event is scheduled during the NYCRuns Queens Ice Cream Social 5K.
Samsung hasn’t expressly joined this campaign at Galaxy Unpacked, the timing and focus hardly suggest otherwise. All of the above discussion strongly hints that the next Unpacked event will take place in New York City on July 9. Since the exact date and venue for the event are unclear yet, it remains to be seen whether the expectations will be true.
At the event, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip FE, Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025, and Project Moohan are supposed to launch.
