Galaxy S23 and S23 FE started getting June 2025 security patch

Last week, Samsung started rolling out the June 2025 security patch for its eligible devices, it started the distribution with the Galaxy S25, now the company is expanding it to older flagship devices, like Galaxy S23 and S23 FE devices.

Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE getting June 2025 security patch in South Korea, the update is carrying firmware version number S91xNKSS6DYE5. and S711NKSS7CYE5 respectively. With the latest update there will be no significant changes for the devices but it will provide some security related enhancement to the devices.
According to the Samsung latest bulletin, the June 2025 security patch will provide nearly 70 patches where Google has included 37 patches while Samsung has introduced 10 more patches to fix the issues limited to Galaxy devices. Apart from these the update has also introduced 10 more patches to semiconductor chipset.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 FE back in 2023, with the Android 13 . Since then both the devices grabbed two major updates including Android 14 and Android 15. According to the information, the device is eligible to get a five year software update so it will get four major updates and several security patches, so it will get new updates till 2028.
