Galaxy M21 Prime Edition receiving June 2025 Security Update

Samsung is smoothly progressing with the June 2025 security update for all its eligible Galaxy devices, while an older-generation affordable model surpasses various flagship models in terms of getting the security patch.
The Galaxy M21 Prime Edition aka Galaxy M21 2021 Edition units have already started receiving a new software update that significantly integrates the June 2025 security patch and is identified with the build number M215GDDS7CYE1. Also, the update is currently going live in India, and other eligible regions are expected to follow shortly.
More specifically, the update, however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather, it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It brings a host of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed by both Google and Samsung collectively in the previous version to offer a more secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats.
At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for more efficient functionality and brings certain optimizations to the overall device’s performance to provide a smooth, stable, and optimized experience to the users.
Well, so far, Samsung has distributed the June 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S25 and S24 series, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, and now the Galaxy M21 Prime Edition models join the queue, while more devices will follow the update shortly.
