Samsung could reveal Galaxy AI charges by Q3 this year: Report

Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy AI features will be available for free until 2025, but what will happen next remains a mystery. Now, a new report claims we may see concrete details regarding the Galaxy AI pricing by Q3 2025.
Initially, Samsung introduced its dedicated AI suite called Galaxy AI, which includes several advanced features, with the Galaxy S24 series based on One UI 6.1. Although later the company has expanded the availability of Galaxy AI with the major One UI updates to more devices based on their eligibility and compatibility.
Noticeably, when the company introduced the Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series, it confirmed that the suite will only be available for free until 2025. This leaves the door open to the possibility of charging for the AI features. However, apart from this, the company hasn’t mentioned anything regarding this statement.
Meanwhile now a new report claims that Samsung will reveal the pricing policy for its Galaxy AI features by the third quarter of this year. Reportedly, the company could not charge for all the Galaxy AI features, but only for more advanced ones that require intense computing power, for intense AI video.
On the other side, recently Samsung announced that it will hold the summer Unpacked event on July 9, so it might be possible that it shares some details about the features that may become pay-to-play at the event. However, there’s no official word regarding this report yet, so it remains to be seen exactly when Samsung will share pricing details for the Galaxy AI features.
