Samsung expands June 2025 Security Patch for Galaxy S24 models in the US

Samsung initiated the June 2025 security patch rollout in the beginning of this month, while a plenty of Galaxy devices have already received the update. Now, the company is expanding the rollout for the Galaxy S24 series in more countries.

Basically, so far, Samsung has distributed the latest update that significantly integrates the June 2025 security patch for the S24 models in South Korea, which is then followed by the European countries.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra units are getting the update in the US. It’s noticeable that the latest update is currently being spotted for the T-Mobile locked devices, and is identified with the build numbers, S921USQS4BYF2, S926USQS4BYF2 and S928USQS4BYF2, respectively.

More specifically, the latest update is just a minor security patch for June month that; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It packs a host of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats. At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for a more efficient functionality and also brings certain optimizations for the device’s overall performance that eventually leads to a more smooth user experience.

Well, the June patch has already started reaching the Galaxy S24 models in the US, while it’s expected to reach more carriers in the country.
