Samsung’s June 2025 security patch for Galaxy S24 and S23 series expand across the US

Samsung’s June 2025 security patch rollout is still ongoing, while the company has already delivered the update for the majority of its flagship phones to tablets and foldables. Meanwhile, the company has started expanding the update for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series in the US.

First up, the June 2025 security update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra units is identified with the build numbers, S921USQS4BYF2, S926USQS4BYF2 and S928USQS4BYF2, respectively. The update is currently available for the Verizon carrier in the US, while it will reach more units across the country.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models are also getting the same update, while they are carrying the build numbers, S911USQS6DYF3, S916USQS6DYF3 and S918USQS6DYF3, respectively.

More specifically, the update is just a minor patch that is meant to strengthen the system security. At the same time, Samsung’s June patch; however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes, rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It packs a host of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were acknowledged in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

In addition, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality, and brings certain optimizations to the device’s overall performance that eventually provide a more smooth, stable and optimized experience to the users.
