Samsung is looking forward to turning things up by introducing an all-new One UI 8.5 build as its next OS right after releasing the standard One UI 8 version for its Galaxy audiences. One UI is directly taking a significant leap to an all-new version, One UI x.5, where Samsung is surprisingly bringing the One UI x.5 version after a long gap of four years, when the company introduced the One UI 2.5 build for its Galaxy devices.
On comparing One UI x.5 with One UI x.1 and One UI x.1.1, Samsung says that the One UI x.5 update is considered the most significant one, which brings various noticeable features and upgrades that offer a smoother and more efficient user experience while also offering a better user interface that significantly takes the user experience to the next level.
However, there’s not even a slight hint regarding the release timeline of the One UI 8.5 version, while currently, Samsung is smoothly progressing with the development of the One UI 8 build, as the version is currently running in the beta phase on the Galaxy S25 series, with two beta builds already delivered. Therefore, it can be assumed that the One UI 8.5 version will arrive right after the major One UI 8.0 version.
