Galaxy A17 5G spotted on SGS certification: Battery details surfaced

Samsung is now gearing up to expand its mid-range Galaxy A-series by debuting a new iteration Galaxy A17 5G, and now it has been spotted on the SGS certification revealing the battery details. 

Currently, Samsung is all set to host the next major Galaxy Unpacked event next month to launch the latest foldable smartphones and smartwatches. Meanwhile, the company has already started working on a mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A17 5G to soon. 

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced a bunch of smartphones under the same Galaxy A-series, including Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. Now it is looking forward to debuting one more device: Galaxy A17, as the successor of Galaxy A16.

A new report from 91mobiles revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G was spotted on Finland’s SGS Fimko certification website with the dedicated number for different markets, including global, the US, and Korea have been as well: SM-A176B/DS; SM-A176B; SM-A176U; SM-A176U1; SM-A176N. 

The listing revealed that the device has a 4,860mAh battery, which is expected to be marketed as 5,000mAh, along with a charging rating is 9V 2.77A, which could be 25W. Apart from the model number and battery details, the listing hasn’t revealed any key or major details of the device. 

However, Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding the existence of the Galaxy A17 smartphone, so currently it’s quite hard to predict the launch timeline of the device, at least for now. But it could be possible that the company could debut the device by the end of this year.
