One UI 8 Rolls Out Android 16’s Most Secure Feature

So far, Samsung Galaxy S25 series is only running One UI 8 version and it is spotted that the latest build contains Android’s powerful security feature, Advanced Protection mode; according to the reports presented by Android Authority.

The report mentions that the latest One UI 8 version will bring the Advanced Protection feature in the form of a single-click toggle that can automatically a wide range of system and app-level security functionalities all at once. At the same time, the feature activates various safety measures like blocks the sideloading of apps, prevents data access using USB, and disables all the 2G network connections.
Basically, the Advanced Protection feature is designed for the devices that are at higher risks to be attacked by sophisticated attackers and prying eyes, while also safeguarding all the data, which eventually leads to a more secure user experience and protects all the sensitive information from security breaches.
Beyond this, following a few steps, users can easily turn on the most high-level protection via the Advanced Protection feature: Settings >> Google >> All services >> Personal & device safety >> Advanced Protection >> Device protection.
