One UI 8 Watch Beta reaches its limit for Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra in the US?

Samsung initiated Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch beta program in South Korea and the US markets; however, the beta rollout is currently only reserved for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models. Meanwhile, it looks like the beta program already reached its limits, resulting in its closure in the US.

The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra owners joined the One UI 8 Watch beta program, but unfortunately users have shared their concerns of not receiving the beta software update via Samsung’s official community forum.

Basically, the closure of One UI 8 Watch beta is due to the limited seats availability and at the same time, Samsung further responded and shared the important eligibility criteria for participating in the latest watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models.

Thus, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra units are required to have an activated T-Mobile plan, while on the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 7 models have both the Bluetooth and LTE variants, and Watch Ultra only has a LTE variant. At the same time, for LTE watch models, the only requirement is having an activated T-Mobile plan, while the Bluetooth variants do not have any subsequent carrier-requirement.

Well, currently, it appears like Samsung has temporarily closed the One UI 8 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra owners in the US, and thus, Samsung has not set any exact timeline for expanding support for One UI 8 Watch beta to more eligible Galaxy watches.
