Samsung is still progressing with the One UI 7 stable rollout for its Galaxy devices, and lately, the Galaxy A23 5G units have started receiving the stable update in the US.
The company started providing One UI 7 in April, and right after the gap of over two months, Galaxy A23 5G units are finally getting the Android 15-based stable software update in the US.
The update for the device is identified with the version number A236VSQU8EYF3 and is currently available on the Verizon network, while it’s expected to reach more units across the country soon.
More specifically, the latest update not only packs certain essential capabilities of Android 15 but also brings various One UI customizations on top. The update significantly adds the ability to check all the key notifications via the Now Bar right on the lock screen without unlocking the phone, adds more home screen customizations, and brings more enhanced Galaxy AI features; however, not all the features will be available for the device.
At the same time, the update further helps in improving productivity by enhancing tools such as Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, call summaries, and more. The update brings the live updates that offer the ability to quickly access the voice recordings, sports scores, and other ongoing activities.
Beyond this, the stable update also integrates the May 2025 security patch level that eventually improves the device’s overall security, performance, and functionality to provide a secure and smooth user experience.
