Galaxy A53 and A54 Pick Up June 2025 Security Update in the US

Samsung is still continuing with the June 2025 security patch rollout, and now, two of its mid-tier models, the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53, have already started receiving the update across the US market.

Basically, the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A53 units are getting a new software update that brings the ongoing June 2025 security update and is now available for both the carrier-locked and unlocked models across the country.

The carrier-locked Galaxy A54 and A53 units have been identified with the version numbers A546USQSCDYF1 and A536USQSFFYF1, respectively. At the same time, the carrier-unlocked models carry the build numbers A546U1UESCDYF1 and A536U1UESEFYF1, respectively.

More specifically, the latest firmware for both the Galaxy A series models comes with a minor security patch that, however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather, it significantly strengthens the system safety and focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It packs a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were acknowledged in earlier versions to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated attacks and threats.

At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality and brings certain optimizations to the overall device’s performance that eventually lead to a smoother and more stable experience for the users.
