Samsung has rolled out the June 2025 update for almost every eligible devices at least in one region, but due to some carrier restriction the company is gradually expanding the update to the unlocked phones including Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3
Samsung June 2025 security update what’s new?
The June 2025 update for these Galaxy devices doesn’t bring any significant changes for the devices, however it will enhance the overall security of the device with the internal changes done in the devices. The update could also include some other changes that will improve the performance of the devices with optimising the functionalities.
For identification, users can check the firmware for updates for all the unlocked devices. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 Series are getting the update with the firmware version number S92*U1UES4BYF2 and S91*U1UES6DYF3 respectively. The update for Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S22 Series are getting the update G99*U1UESGHYF1 and S90*U1UES8FYF2 respectively. Meanwhile Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 carries the version F926U1UESCKYF3 and F711U1UESDKYF3 respectively. Notably, these devices’ locked variant have already got the update.
