Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic Screen Turns Orange or Pink Following Recent Software Update
Samsung Galaxy smartwatch users, stay alert, as the most recent update is causing a colorful screen issue in Galaxy Watch 4 models, as users shared various reports via official forums.
Recently, Samsung released its March 2025 security patch for the Galaxy Watch 4 models widely, but unfortunately, the update went wrong, as instead of enhancing the functionality, it is causing a screen issue.
One UI 6 Watch Update Turns Into a Nightmare for Galaxy Watch 4 Users
Over a dozen Galaxy Watch 4 users are reporting the same screen issue occurring right after upgrading their watch to the recent software update. Notably, the issue occurred mostly with Galaxy Watch 4 models. According to several reports, once the watch is upgraded with the most recent update, suddenly or after few days the screen turns pink and orange and stops functioning.
This issue has been observed on Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic after updating to One UI 6 Watch. Some users have also been facing this problem since the new update and after March 2025 Security update.
Unfortunately, the report is not just based on reports from other users but also on our personal experience, as our Galaxy Watch 4 Classic LTE, right after upgrading with the recent update, suffered from a screen issue where its screen turned pink.
However, each user is reporting a different issue with a common factor: pink and orange screens. For instance, a user on Samsung’s community forum reported that suddenly his Galaxy Watch 4 became pink with a “white line on top” after a software update. Another user (2) reports that his Galaxy Watch 4 screen has gone dark and orange.
A user (3) took to a forum to report that his Galaxy Watch 4 (44 mm) initially started showing an orange line, and when he pressed the side button, the screen seemed normal for a while but then turned fully orange again.
Going through all of these reports, it seems that the issue is limited to the Galaxy Watch 4 models. To date, there’s no official word regarding whether the company has acknowledged the issue. It remains to be seen whether the issue will be fixed with the next software update or by replacing the screen.
