Samsung is about to bring a significant upgrade in the display technology with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Here we are talking about the new CoE OLED panel which will ensure more optimisation for the Galaxy device with battery life extension as well as improve display quality.
According to the Ice Universe, Samsung’s next flagship model is the Galaxy S26 Ultra to be equipped with the new CoE OLED panel technology and depolarizer technology. Further, the report claims that in comparison to the OLED technology the CoE is the new filter that will replace the colour filter, and at the same time the ordinary PDL is replaced by black PDL.

Talking about advantages, with this technology the panel will get thinner, lighter, and have more vivid colors due to the new color filter layer. With this technology the more light transmitted, the screen consumes less power while adjusting the high brightness which ultimately increases the battery life.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to be equipped with third-generation CoE+ anti-reflective coating. With this improvement, the outdoor light reflection while also making the overall device thinner and lighter increases the premium feel.
Meanwhile, there is no other information available about the Galaxy S26 Ultra but there are some other rumours circulating like the device could get the Sony 1-inch sensor which will replace Samsung’s own camera hardware.
