Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy S25 Edge, the fourth member of the Galaxy S25 family, is getting another software update, beginning in South Korea, but it’s not what you thought of!
Basically, the company is now sending the second software update for the Galaxy S25 Edge models, which significantly integrates the latest July 2025 security update and is currently available in South Korea. At the same time, the availability of the update is expected to be expanded to other countries soon.
Specifically, the latest firmware for the device carries the version number S937NKSS2AYF6 and, as usual, the monthly patches; however, it doesn’t bring any major features or changes. Instead, it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.
The update packs a handful of fixes brought up by both Google and Samsung, collectively, for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the earlier versions in order to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.
At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the overall system behavior for efficient functionality and brings certain optimizations to the device’s performance to offer a smoother, more stable, and more optimized user experience.
Well, indeed, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge features a slim design, but the company has unveiled the slimmest and lightest member of the Galaxy family, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is currently available for pre-orders alongside its sibling, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and will be arriving soon atretail stores for purchase near you.
