Samsung May Shatter Pre‑Order Records with Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 in South Korea

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are expected to set a new benchmark for pre-orders in major markets, as reliable analysts predicted.
On July 9 at the Unpacked event in New York, Samsung launched seventh-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip 7. It’s hardly been a week since the pre-order program for these devices, and they are already predicted to break the previous records.
Last time, the fifth-generation foldable phones had set a pre-order benchmark for Samsung in its major market, South Korea, with over 1.02 million units combined being sold during the pre-order period.
Now, the newly launched foldable phones are highly anticipated to break the previous pre-order records, as analysts who have their finger on the market’s pulse predicted that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 have the potential to set a new pre-order benchmark.
Reportedly, the consumer interest in the new products is high enough, as more than 160,000 people have signed up for just the pre-purchase notifications alone. Local mobile carriers such as SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ are also expected to massively push out these devices.
Interested ones should hurry up to preorder these devices, as the program will close by the end of this month. However, the exact figures of the pre-order for these newly launched foldable devices are yet to be revealed, so it will be interesting to see whether these phones will break the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5’s pre-order record.
