Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to feature a larger display and thinner bezels as compared to its predecessor, Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The Korean tech giant is gearing up to introduce its next-generation Galaxy S26 series, including three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Apart from these three phones, one more model, the Galaxy S26 Edge, is also in the pipeline, which is anticipated to replace the Plus model; however, it’s not officially confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, IceUniverse, shared a post on X, claiming that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.89-inch display, which is 0.03 inches bigger than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 6.86-inch display.
However, in theory, it isn’t a massive upgrade, but still, the device should feel more expansive, and the reason behind this is that Samsung is expected to achieve this by shrinking the surrounding bezels.
According to the post shared by the tipster, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may measure the same body width as its predecessor, around 77.6 mm. This hints that the Korean tech giant has managed to expand the screen size without even making the phone wider.
Recently, it’s also been reported that the standard variant of the lineup, the Galaxy S26, will be the thinnest base model in the Galaxy S lineup since the S6, with a thickness of under 7 mm. However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official display measurement of the coming Galaxy S26 models, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked report will come true.
