No Fast Charging for Galaxy Tab S10 Lite? 3C Listing Suggests So

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite alongside the next-generation Galaxy Tab S11 series by the end of this year. Now it has appeared on China’s 3C certification, hinting at an imminent global launch.

The Korean tech is working on expanding its Galaxy Tablet family by introducing more devices, and currently it has a bunch of new tabs in the pipeline to debut this year, including the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S11, and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

Ahead of the official launch, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite device has already appeared on several certifications, such as the FCC and BIS. Samsung is developing the device with dedicated model numbers for each Wi-Fi and cellular version, as mentioned below:

  • Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (Wi-Fi) – SM-X400
  • Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (Cellular) – SM-X406

It will arrive as an affordable Android tablet designed for budget-conscious consumers.

Galaxy Tab S10 Lite Gets 3C Approval, May Support 25W Charging

Now, XpertPick revealed that the Wi-Fi-only variant has appeared on China’s 3C certification, which means that it will also be debuted in the Chinese market. Although it remains unclear whether the cellular version will also launch there, as it hasn’t appeared on the certification.

According to the listing, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (Wi-Fi) will support only 25W (9V/2.77A) charging. This speed is notably slow by today’s mid-range tablet standards, where competitors like Xiaomi, Realme, and OnePlus increasingly offer 30W, 45W, or even 65W charging speeds—effectively double or more the power. Noticeably, and adding to the frustration for users seeking faster top-ups, the company won’t include a compatible power adapter in the retail package, which is unfortunately no longer surprising but means buyers must source one separately to achieve even this modest rate.

However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official details regarding the battery charging and other specifications of the device, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked details via several listings will come true.
