Finally, the Galaxy A56 hit in the US market months after the global launch; let’s take a closer look at the device and whether it brings any new novelty, as the company took enough time to make it available in the US.
Earlier this year, Samsung launched a bunch of three mid-range smartphones under the Galaxy A-series, including the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56. Initially, the company has debuted all of these devices in the selected markets, including India and the UK. A few weeks later, except for the Galaxy A56, they made the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36 available in the US market.
Although Samsung committed to releasing the Galaxy A56 in the USA later this year, and now, the commitment has come true, as the device is available nationwide in the US starting today. Customers residing there can easily purchase the device from online stores as well as through its retail partners across the country.
It features a 6.7-inch display and is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset integrated with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Noticeably, it ships with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
Samsung has blessed the Galaxy A56 devices with Awesome Intelligence, which is a toned-down version of the Galaxy AI suite. It only includes a few selected features, which are as follows: Circle to Search, Object Eraser, Best Face, and AI Select. The starting price of the device is $499 in the US market, and it is available in two color variants, including Awesome Light Gray and Awesome Graphite.
