Google Fixes Galaxy Watch Pairing Bug in Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3

Samsung Galaxy Watch owners have been facing connectivity issues with Google’s latest Android 16 OS, and now, it looks like Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3 has come to the rescue!
Basically, a previous report mentioned that the Galaxy Watch users were unable to pair their smartwatches (here, the Galaxy Watch 8) with their Android phones running Google’s immature Android 16 QPR1 Beta, and now, the latest Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3 brings a fix for the annoying bug that is preventing users from connecting their smartphones to their watches.
It’s impressive that Google acknowledged the problem and has just released an all-new Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3 that comes with a fix, which is supposed to resolve the pairing issue occurring in Samsung Galaxy watches for a while now. Among certain other elements, the latest beta version significantly integrates the July 2025 security patches as well.
However, it was previously reported that even after trying to install the Galaxy Watch Manager plugin via the Galaxy Wearable app on the newest Galaxy Watch 8, the app crashed, thus leading to the failure in pairing the watch with the Android device.
At the same time, it’s possible that users facing the connectivity issue with their Galaxy watches can now install Google’s latest Android beta version and could see whether their watch retains its normal functionality.
Well, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series arrived with the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch, out of the box. Since Samsung is progressively working on the latest build, with the Galaxy Watch Ultra already getting the stable update, the company will be expanding to more eligible models over the coming future.
