
Samsung has introduced its live activity feature, Now Bar, with the One UI 7. This feature has truly used the potential of the lock screen and Always-on Display (AOD) for providing a better experience of services of different applications, which is gradually expanding to more new apps.
The Now Bar basically provides a space to show the live activities of the different applications, which can also be interactive. Initially, the feature is supported by a few applications, including Samsung Clock, Google Maps, Recorder, and some more preloaded applications. Then, it has gradually expanded the support to 20 applications.

According to recent reports, Samsung plans to expand the Now Bar’s app support to as many as 35 apps by the end of 2025. However, currently there is no information about which application will gain Now Bar support in the future.
