Samsung has already started preparing for its next flagship Galaxy S Series smartphone; recently there was a new firmware version spotted on the server, and previously there were many new upgrades already in rumors. Here we are talking about Galaxy S26. Now the device reportedly comes with all three major LLMs: ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, and Gemini.
Samsung is planning to expand its portfolio of offering AI services with Galaxy S26, so it is going to shake hands with the major LLMs to offer a great experience for users.
According to Choi Won-Joon, president and chief operating officer of the mobile division, “As long as these AI agents are competitive and can provide the best user experiences, we are open to any AI agent out there.”
Last month, it was reported that Samsung is near to the deal with Perplexity and will integrate its app and assistant, and it has also offered free use of Perplexity Pro for a year; however, it was available throughout the application, but once Samsung can crack the deal, then it is possible that the AI feature could be integrated by default into the device functionality.
If all three LLMs come on one device, then there should be an option to customize the usage of the AI services according to user preference for certain functionalities. Alternatively, it is also possible the company could implement them as with a universal switch, which will apply any of the LLM-based services for a completed device solution.
