One UI 8 Beta 4 Full Changelog: Samsung IMS Update, DeX Improvements, and More

Samsung has finally released the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S25 series in almost all the eligible countries, excluding Poland, which is supposed to be joining soon. Since the latest update is beta firmware, it’s all about various key bug fixes and improvements.

Galaxy S25’s One UI 8 Beta 4 is now available and is identified with the version number ZYGB; however, it doesn’t bring any major features or changes. Rather, as usual, this newest beta version packs various significant bugs that have been fixed to ensure a smoother and more stable user experience.

Specifically, the update brings bug fixes while also integrating more enhanced software stability via updates to multiple Galaxy apps.

The update includes fixes for an operational issue with the Galaxy AI Reply Suggestions for an improved AI experience. In addition, the update fixes a loading issue when Bixby routine commands are accessed via voice; fixes a display issue in the quick launch icon area on the lock screen;fixes an issue where the lock screen is showing a message: Fingerprint sensor is not responding; fixes an issue of outgoing calls when performing the swipe-to-call gesture from the contact list with the TalkBack feature also enabled; and lastly, the update further fixes a flickering issue of the vertical or horizontal level indicator when switching from the front to the rear camera.

At the same time, the latest beta update further adds a new Emergency Update feature within the Samsung IMS Service that will significantly support higher quality voice and videos alongside more enhanced chat services on Galaxy devices. Further, the update apparently adds the capability to the Samsung DeX, where users will be able to switch to full-screen mode while playing videos.
