Galaxy M17 5G and F17 5G Appear on Google Play Console Ahead of Launch

Samsung is working on two latest budget-friendly smartphones, called Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G, and both of these have now appeared on the Google Play Console.

Currently, the Korean tech firm is working on a wide range of products to launch this year, including all types, i.e., flagship, mid-range, budget-friendly, foldable, tablet, and more. For instance, the Galaxy S25 FEGalaxy A07Galaxy A57, Galaxy Tri-Fold, Galaxy Tab S11 series, and more.

Last week, the company launched the Galaxy A17 5G smartphone in the European market. Now it is looking forward to launching the Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G soon. A few weeks ago, both of these smartphones had already been listed on BIS certifications and now appeared on another certification called Google Play Console (via) with dedicated model numbers as mentioned below:

  • Galaxy M17 5G – SM-M176B
  • Galaxy F17 5G – SM-E176B

According to the listing, both smartphones have the device code “a17x,” which is similar to the newly launched Galaxy A17 5G.

The listing says that the Galaxy M17 5G will be powered by the in-house Exynos 1330 chipset, having eight cores, including two fast cores running at 2.4 GHz and six smaller cores running at 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G68 graphics chip. The device will have 4 GB of RAM and will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.

To date, there are no more details regarding the specifications of these devices, so it remains to be seen what new novelties Samsung will offer them. Reportedly, Samsung could sell the Galaxy M17 5G only on Amazon India, while the Galaxy F17 5G on Flipkart.
