Galaxy S26 Ultra to Offer Faster App Loading with New RAM Chip

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is supposed to debut in early 2026 alongside its siblings, which are anticipated to deliver faster and seamless performance thanks to a RAM upgrade.

The Korean tech giant is setting up to launch its next-generation flagship Galaxy S26 lineup, including three models as mentioned below:

It’s almost confirmed that the company is ditching the Plus variant from the lineup and replacing it with the Edge. Samsung hasn’t revealed any official details regarding the hardware and software of the Galaxy S26 series yet, but leaks and rumors have already started blowing online.

Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, PhoneArt, shared a post on X, revealing that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have the fastest RAM chip among its competitors. According to him, the device will use LPDDR5X RAM with a data transfer speed of up to 10.7 Gbps.

The current Galaxy S25 Ultra features LPDDR5X RAM with 8.5 Gbps speed, which means that if the report comes true, then the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have 25% faster RAM than its predecessor.

The faster RAM will be quite significant for the device to reduce loading times and have smoother graphics, which leads to faster performance. Noticeably, no other brand makes faster RAM for mobile devices, so the Galaxy S26 Ultra could have the fastest RAM of any rival, whereas Micron and SK Hynix introduced LPDDR5T RAM, which sounds faster than Samsung’s 10.7 Gbps LPDDR5X, but it tops out at 9.6 Gbps.
