Just in! The US-based Galaxy S24 series owners can now enroll and join the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program, as the update is rolling out in the country.
Samsung has already initiated the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in the UK and the company’s home country, South Korea; meanwhile, the One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series is now available in the US.
Specifically, the newest One UI 8 beta update comes with an all-new version number, ZYH3, and interested Galaxy S24 owners can now enroll themselves and can grab the opportunity to test out all the newer functions and capabilities of the latest version ahead of its official release.
Also, users can participate and join Samsung’s latest One UI beta program via the Samsung Members app.
At the same time, the latest update, however, runs in the dedicated beta channel but significantly brings a host of new and much more improved features. Summarizing them includes several improvements to productivity, multitasking with all-new Samsung DeX support, the newly added UI of the Reminder app, an enhanced split-screen view, an enhanced Calendar app, advanced Samsung Health, strengthened security, privacy, and accessibility, and more. In addition, Samsung’s One UI 8 runs Android 16 on top, and thus, the newest version not only packs customizations and changes of the One UI 8 skin, but it also features some essential capabilities of Google’s Android 16 in order to provide a smoother and enhanced user experience.
Well, the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series has already begun, which is currently available in South Korea, the UK, and the US, and it’s expected to reach more eligible countries gradually over the next coming days.
