One UI 8 beta with Android 16 arrives on Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 in India

Samsung has started expanding the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series alongside Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models in other eligible countries; meanwhile, the beta version is now available in India.

Right after getting the One UI 8 Beta update in other major countries, including South Korea, the UK, and the US, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra units have started receiving the ongoing One UI 8 Beta update in India as well. Also, the newest beta build carries the build number ZYH3.

At the same time, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models, however, only received the update in South Korea, and now, Samsung has already begun expanding the first One UI 8 beta update in India, which has been identified with an all-new version number, ZYH4.

How to enroll for One UI 8 Beta Program

  1. Open Samsung Members App
    • Locate and launch the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy phone.
  2. Find the One UI 8 Beta Banner
    • Look for the One UI 8 Beta registration banner on the app’s homepage (usually at the top or bottom).
    • If you don’t see the banner, your device or region may not be eligible yet, or registration slots may be full—try again later.
  3. Register for the Beta
    • Tap the banner, then hit Continue.
    • Complete the registration process and tap Join.
  4. Receive and Install the Beta Update
    • After successful registration, the beta firmware will be delivered OTA (over the air).
    • Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to download the update.
    • Follow prompts and restart your device when prompted
