Indeed, Samsung has remarkably evolved in the tech market, gaining the topmost position among a few big names when it comes to bringing revolution in innovation and technology. A while ago, the company introduced its own version of Android Auto, and guess what! The service already started getting One UI 8 support.
In case you missed it! In July 2025, audiences got to witness Samsung’s own Android Auto alternative, named Samsung Auto DeX, for the first time.
Basically, the Samsung Auto is a stunning feature that is designed to support 8,500+ car head units, carrying an interactive UI that is more or less identical to Google’s Android Auto to provide an amazing in-car experience. However, Samsung kept this useful service limited to China.
Meanwhile, according to the recent report shared by a guy named Galaxy Techie, it apparently suggests that Samsung has already started integrating the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 support within its newest Samsung Auto platform while also adding a few new features.
More specifically, the post mentioned two newly added features with One UI 8: first up, Samsung Auto officially gets a screen mirroring ability for the car head unit, which significantly allows users to mirror their Galaxy smartphones on their car’s in-built system for a more convenient yet safe driving experience.
Next up, the service further receives the new app voice call continuity feature, which significantly shows call-related notifications on the car’s display. At the same time, it also allows users to pick up any call instantly without any hassle of looking at their smartphone’s screen when driving.
Well, Samsung Auto just received One UI 8 support; it’s expected that more new features will be added in the coming future.
