Samsung Starts Selling Refurbished Galaxy Z Fold/Flip Phones in the US

Samsung foldable fans, here’s some good news for you: the company officially started selling the refurbished Galaxy Z series foldable phones for the very first time under the company’s ‘Certified Re-Newed’ program in the USA.

It’s been a month since Samsung launched its seventh-generation foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Now the company is actively working on launching its first tri-fold phone, to be named Galaxy Tri Fold, by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Samsung introduces its “Certified Re-Newed” program, under which the company will sell certified refurbished Galaxy Z series foldable phones. Those who are residing in the USA can now buy the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 under this program with one year of warranty from Samsung’s online store.

Each variant of the device has dedicated price rates based on storage, which are as follows:

Galaxy Z Flip 5

  • The 256GB internal storage variant is available at $650
  • The 512GB internal storage variant is priced at $700

Galaxy Z Fold 5

  • The 256GB internal storage variant is available at $1,169
  • The 256GB internal storage variant is available at $1,219

The devices come with a certified new battery, a one-year warranty, and an option of buying a Samsung Care+ plan for additional protection. In case customers have an existing phone, they can trade it in to get a trade-in discount and reduce the burden on their wallet.
