Samsung’s Expert RAW is primarily designed to provide pro-level photography standards, exceptional controls, and some stunning details to the captured pictures. The app consists of various features; however, not all the features will be applicable for all the Galaxy devices, and a few of them are only exclusive for the latest Galaxy S25 series, at least for now.
Meanwhile, the Expert RAW app has already started getting a new update, which takes the app to an all-new version number, v5.0.02.8, and is now available to download via the Galaxy Store.
At the same time, the changelog of the newest update for the Expert RAW app doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly packs a few key bug fixes and other relevant improvements that will eventually provide a smoother, more stable, and more efficient photography experience to the users, while also allowing them to capture pictures or videos without any inconvenience.
At the same time, previously, we have covered that Samsung is looking towards expanding the Virtual Aperture, a brilliant camera feature that is designed to allow users to put an exceptional mode that is more or less identical to DSLR directly on their Galaxy devices via the Expert RAW, to more flagship models right after the Galaxy S25 series. But it remains to be seen when it will arrive on more older-gen models.
