Samsung Rolls Out August 2025 Security Update for Multiple Galaxy Models

Samsung is continuously working towards expanding the latest August 2025 security update, right after initiating the update with its mid-tier model, the Galaxy A56. So far, a bunch of devices have received the security patch, and now it’s the turn for more Galaxy phones to get the update.

Beginning in South Korea and other Asian countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and India, Samsung Galaxy M44 (Jump 3), Galaxy M55, Galaxy A14 4G, and Galaxy A15 4G units are getting a new update that significantly integrates the August 2025 security update, which is identified with the version numbers M446KKSS6DYH1, M556BXXS4BYH2A145FXXSADYH2, and A155FXXS7CYG3. Also, the update will reach more eligible countries over the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the August 2025 security update bears a minor monthly Android security patch that, however, doesn’t come with any major features and changes; rather, it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to offer a more secure user experience while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.

In addition, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and brings performance optimizations that eventually lead to a smoother, more stable, and more optimized user experience.
