Samsung initiated the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta program for the Galaxy S25 series in May this year. Though the company has announced the expansion of the beta program to even more Galaxy devices as well.
A new report perhaps reassures audiences that the Galaxy S25 Edge is not eligible to receive the One UI 8 beta but is appearing all set to get the stable version on time.
No One UI 8 beta for Galaxy S25 Edge as Samsung plans to release stable version on time
Since there was not even a single piece of evidence that points out the appearance of the Galaxy S25 Edge running the One UI 8 beta on test servers, it perhaps clarified that Samsung is in no mood to open the One UI 8 beta program for the S25 Edge. Meanwhile, a recent report by a user on X suggests some sort of clarity to the above speculation.
The user shared a post that shows the newest One UI 8-based build for the Galaxy S25 Edge has just been spotted and is identified with the version number S937U1UEU2BYH7, and above all, the latest build even holds the September 2025 security patch (which is yet to be detailed by Samsung).

At the same time, Samsung has already announced that the stable One UI 8 release for the Galaxy S25 series is scheduled for September, while the S25 family is already testing One UI 8 beta 5. This eventually suggests that Samsung has not even tested the One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S25 Edge on its internal test servers.
However, it still remains to be seen whether Samsung releases the One UI 8 stable version for the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 simultaneously.
