Google Redesigns Quick Share UI Following Samsung’s One UI 8 Upgrade

While Samsung upgraded Quick Share with One UI 8, Google also walked in the footsteps, and now, it appears like a redesigned Quick Share interface is on the way to the users worldwide.

Following the renaming, Google’s Quick Share is on the verge of Android’s biggest upgrade ever, as the company has already started rolling out a redesigned UI for its sharing service, Quick Share, bringing dedicated Send and Receive modes, according to the post shared by Android Authority.

More specifically, Google has further refined the overall interface of the Quick Share, ditching the previous UI and adding dedicated Send and Receive sections for more convenience. However, the newest overhaul is currently spotted for some users; it’s expected to expand to more users gradually.

The newest functionality will eventually allow users to effortlessly share or transfer their files to other Android devices. At the same time, not just this, but by default, the Quick Share UI opens up in the Receive section when accessed via the phone’s settings or the quick settings. Also, the redesigned Receive UI looks more effortless and useful than before, while also highlighting the device’s name alongside displaying the user’s profile picture that is visible to their contacts.

On the other hand, the Send section now comes with an all-new file picker section, where users will be able to pick multiple different files at once without any hassle. Also, it’s important to note that when selecting media files, Quick Share will offer a preview section to review the selected media.

Well, Samsung has already introduced a completely refined and redesigned Quick Share for the entire Galaxy audience with One UI 8, and now, following the same move, Google has also brought up the revamped Quick Share UI and is already rolling it out for some users; hopefully, it will reach more Android owners worldwide.
