Samsung has stepped into the ongoing AI revolution with a bang, and its Galaxy AI suite is being integrated with a host of useful yet significant features, one such being Now Brief. Now, the feature is making its way to even more older-generation Galaxy models!
One of the Galaxy AI’s spotlights, Now Brief, was added with One UI 7, exclusively with the current premium phones, the Galaxy S25 series, and so far, the company has engaged in enhancing the feature, and there has been no looking back since then.
Basically, the AI-powered Now Brief combines both the AI personalization and user’s privacy with enhanced on-device processing and significantly guides users all throughout their day by offering various suggestions that are tailored to their experience and are easily accessible via the Now Bar on the phone’s lock screen. At the same time, these useful insights are secured by Samsung Knox Vault and ensure higher privacy of the users, which leads to a more powerful and secure Galaxy AI experience.
Galaxy S24 and Folding 6 Series Get Samsung Now Brief AI Feature via One UI 8
Meanwhile, the most interesting part is that Samsung has finally started integrating Now Brief into more older-generation Galaxy devices. Since Samsung has just started delivering its latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series alongside Galaxy Z Flip 6 models, and guess what! The company has significantly added Now Brief via the update. However, it remains to be seen whether Samsung keeps the feature or removes it once One UI 8 goes stable. This feature also available for Galaxy Z Fold 6 with One UI 8 Beta 2 update.
Well, Samsung’s newest One UI 8 version is showing great progress, and the release looks on time, while the Galaxy S25 series has just received the sixth One UI 8 beta build. Nevertheless, Samsung has scheduled the stable release for September; it appears like the sixth beta is perhaps the last beta build before the software enters into the stability stage.
