One UI 8 Beta Finally Arrives for Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra

Samsung has finally started releasing the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series in a few selective countries, including South Korea, India, and the UK.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models join the ongoing One UI 8 beta program after being tested on the internal test servers for quite some time now. At the same time, the newest beta firmware for the 2023 flagships has been identified with the version number ZYHB. 

Well, the update is a beta version, which is a perfect opportunity to test out various new features and improvements ahead of the stable release. More specifically, the One UI 8 beta brings you some exciting new features as well as more upgraded security, productivity, and accessibility. The update certainly integrates the latest September 2025 security patch for a more secure user experience and further protects the device against potential threats. Also, the update further brings certain bug fixes and other relevant improvements that help in providing a more refined user experience while also optimizing certain features. 

Since Samsung has started rolling out the first One UI 8 beta version for the Galaxy S23 series currently in the above-mentioned countries, other eligible regions, including the US, will join shortly. At the same time, Samsung has scheduled the stable One UI 8 release for this month, starting with the Galaxy S25 series, while other older eligible models will test the beta build at the same time.
