Samsung Foldables Attract 30% of iPhone Users According to New Data

Samsung is one of the leading brands in the foldable market, and even 30% of iPhone users are also considering going for the Galaxy foldable phones. Let’s take a closer look at the new survey.
Recently, Samsung launched its seventh-generation foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip, and now it is looking forward to launching the first-ever tri-folding device, which is supposed to be called the Galaxy Tri-Fold.
On the rivalry side, Apple has yet to debut in the foldable market; however, now it has started setting up for launching its first foldable iPhone soon. Meanwhile, a survey of over 2,000 US iPhone owners was conducted by SellCell to understand their upgrade intentions ahead of the iPhone 17 launch.
According to the survey, nearly 70% of users want to upgrade their iPhone. The most interesting question in the survey was asked regarding the foldables: in case Apple does not release a foldable until 2026 or later, then how likely are you to switch to Samsung or Google for your next phone?
Interestingly, 30% of users were against Apple, as 20% said they would choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, whereas 10% would consider the Google Pixel Fold. The survey hints that if Apple delays the release of its foldable iPhone, then some users may prefer Samsung.
Currently, Samsung is setting up to bring a new revolution in the foldable market by debuting the Galaxy Tri-Fold, which is rumored to be announced sometime in October this year.
