Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold’s expected launch time shifts a month forward

Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold is now reported to face a delay in the expected launch, as the latest report suggests a new launch timeline.

Samsung has already teased the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold on several occasions, and now it is looking forward to launching it soon. The only official detail regarding the device is the confirmation of its arrival, as last month, during the 2Q25 Earnings Conference Call, the company unveiled the launch timeline of the Galaxy Tri-Fold and XR Headset devices, i.e., by the end of this year.

However, the exact launch date of the device has yet to be cleared, but a few reports in the recent week have suggested that Samsung could launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold at another Unpacked event on September 29. Meanwhile, a new report is revealing something against the previous reports, as it suggests that the tri-folding device will be unveiled in October. Let’s take a closer look at the report.

A new report from ETNews revealed that Samsung might unveil the dual-hinge phone (Tri-Fold) in Korea as early as “next month,” although the actual launch might take place later in November.

Currently, multiple reports are revealing the different launch timelines for the Galaxy Tri-Fold, but it remains to be seen which of the reports will come true. Recently, it’s also been reported that Samsung is considering producing a limited (50,000) number of units for its first tri-folding phone, at least for the initial release.
