Good Lock NotiStar Labs Notification Feature Issue Fixed with One UI 9

Samsung’s Good Lock suite has always offered an incredible experience to the Galaxy audience when it comes to various customizations. The suite consists of a wide range of apps or modules; one of them is NotiStar. However, an issue has been encountered with NotiStar in One UI 8 and is perhaps going to be fixed in the upcoming OS.

Basically, the Good Lock’s NotiStar is designed for handling all the customizations related to either apps or system notifications, allowing users to personalize notifications their way.

At the same time, a user has encountered an issue where the “Set app unable to clear notifications” option has been allegedly removed from the Labs section of the NotiStar app. Since this option triggers notifications from some selected apps to not be deleted even if the user presses the Clear button of the quick panel, this option was last available in the One UI 7 version (as you can see in the screenshot below); however, it is currently unavailable in One UI 8.

To which, Samsung’s official Good Lock team has already acknowledged the issue and clarified that the feature will be included in the upcoming OS, which is supposed to be Android 17-powered One UI 9. Also, it’s important to note that there is still a lot of time left for One UI 9 to make its appearance, and it will be too early to predict anything regarding the next OS, which has not even been in the headlines yet.

In any case, the NotiStar issue is to be fixed with the arrival of Samsung’s next OS, so users need to wait for a really long time in order to use the feature.
