Samsung Dual-Hinge Foldable Leak Reveals Unique Opening and Closing Method

Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold seems all set to set the stage on fire next month, and now its new animation video has appeared online, giving a closer look at the multi-folding mechanism.
The Korean tech giant has already teased its first-ever tri-folding phone on many occasions. A few weeks back, during the 2Q25 Earnings Conference Call, the company confirmed that it will launch the tri-fold and XR headset by the end of this year; however, it didn’t mention the exact date.
Recently, a tipster hinted that the tri-folding device will not be compatible with the S Pen. Now the same tipster (@TechHighest) has shared a new official-looking animation of the device, revealing a new fact about the device.

The newly leaked animation reveals how the Galaxy foldable will open and close. According to the animation, the external display opens outward with the left side starting first and the right side after that. Noticeably, the animation also revealed an interesting feature of the device that will allow you to take selfies with the rear camera instead of the front camera.
According to recent reports, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold in October and will make it available globally next year. It’s also reported that the company is considering limited production, at least for the initial release. Leaks and rumors of the device are raising curiosity among fans to see the official look and features of the device.
