Samsung officially launched its latest mid-range Galaxy F17 5G smartphone with the promise of six major Android OS updates.
For so long, the Galaxy F17 leaks and rumors were blowing in the market, teasing the Galaxy fan community, and it has already gone on sale ahead of official release. Leaks apart, finally, Samsung officially launched the device exclusively through Flipkart in the Indian market.
Galaxy F17 5G’s Specifications
It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution and is protected using a Gorilla Glass Victus panel. It is one of the cheapest phones in India to feature this version of Gorilla Glass protection.
It is powered by the in-house Exynos 1330 chipset, integrated with 4GB & 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. Samsung promised to offer six major OS updates to the device. The camera setup includes a 50MP rear camera with OIS and a 2MP macro camera on the rear as well. A 13MP camera is housed at the front for selfies. The selfie camera and rear camera can record full HD videos at 30 fps.
The battery package includes a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 25 W fast charging. Samsung offers several connectivity features, including GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
Availability and Price
It is available in two color variants, including Neo Black and Violet Pop. Interested ones can buy it from Flipkart.
The 4GB RAM variant costs INR 14,499, and the 6GB RAM variant costs INR 15,999. The company is also offering an instant cashback of INR 500 on buying the device via an HDFC Bank card or via UPI.
