Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is supposed to replace the Plus variant from the Galaxy S26 series next year, and now its battery has been spotted on BIS certification.
Under the hood, the Korean tech giant is actively working on its next-generation high-end Galaxy S26 series, which will include three models, as mentioned below:
- Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra
Recently, the magnetic cases for all of these models have surfaced online, revealing the built-in Qi2 magnets for MagSafe compatibility. Meanwhile, now, the Galaxy S26 Edge’s battery is spotted on the BIS certification with dedicated model numbers, which are as follows:
- EB-BS947ABE and EB-BS947ABY
However, apart from the model number, the listing hasn’t revealed any specific details regarding the battery capacity or charging support.
A few weeks back, the Galaxy S26 Edge battery capacity was already revealed via 3C certification, according to which it will have a 4,078 mAh rated battery capacity, which hints that the typical capacity could be 4,200 mAh.
Samsung will power the device with an in-house Exynos 2600 chip based on a 2nm process, and it will not have a silicon-carbon. The CAD renders of the device have also been leaked previously, which hints at the iPhone-like design language.
