Stable One UI 8.0 Update Reaches Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 Users

Samsung rolled out the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 in the home country, Korea, and it is expected to be released in other regions soon.
The Korean tech giant now appears to be moving forward actively with the stable One UI 8 rollout to all eligible Galaxy devices, initially with the flagship models, as soon as possible. For instance, last week, it released the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 and now expanded it to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Before rolling out the stable version, both of these phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Z Flip 6, have received two beta updates over the past few weeks and have now received the stable update in South Korea, and it is expected to be released in other countries in the coming days.
Both devices received the update with the dedicated firmware versions as mentioned below:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6 – F956NKSU2CYI7
- Galaxy Z Flip 6 – F741NKSU2CYI6
Noticeably, the update, which is available in 600 MB in size, is for the One UI 8.0 beta program participants, but for all users, it will be released soon in a 4 GB size.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6 users who are currently residing in Korea can check for the new update by navigating a few steps: go to Settings >> Software update >> Download & Install. Once you’re done and the update is fully downloaded, tap the Install now button to successfully install the latest update.
