Android Auto is one of the best services by Google and is indeed considered the best driving companion that allows users to focus only on the road while driving. However, the platform is certainly prone to various bugs and other issues; meanwhile, a new complaint flashed online, suggesting a magnified Android Auto UI.
Well, Google continues to fix Android Auto bugs; several users initially took it to the Reddit platform and reported that the display of their car’s UI is magnified, making characters zoom in for apps like Google Maps and Spotify, in particular. (via Android Authority)
Specifically, the user mentioned that their 2024 Chevy 2500’s screen UI suddenly became zoomed in, and this has been happening for weeks, while also stating that the same thing was spotted when tried in their latest Ford truck. Basically, this issue of the magnified Android Auto interface is happening when the service is connected either wired or wirelessly. Also, sometimes it’s just Spotify and not Google Maps, or sometimes it’s both apps.
Other than that, most of the users have agreed that they have been dealing with a similar issue, while one of them also stated that the navigation section is affected when in split-screen mode, in particular, while the music is playing perfectly fine. At the same time, a user further mentioned that this issue vanished right after updating Android Auto to its latest version.
However, the zoomed UI issue within Android Auto is not happening for all the users; also, it’s yet to be clarified how many users have been affected or if the problem is dedicated to any specific phone model. Hopefully, Google acknowledges the zoomed UI issue of Android Auto and releases a quick fix for the problem as soon as possible.
