Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 join Samsung’s September 2025 Security Update rollout

Samsung is currently rolling out the stable One UI 8 update for several of its eligible Galaxy devices; in due course of time, the company is also delivering the ongoing September 2025 security update, and now, the foldables, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, join the trend.

Beginning from Europe, Samsung’s September 2025 security update is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 models, which carry the version numbers F936BXXSAHYI1 and F721BXXSAHYI1, respectively.

It’s important to note that after Europe, the latest update is supposed to expand to more countries, including South Korea, over the coming days.

According to the details presented by Samsung, the latest September 2025 security update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly focuses on improving the device’s security and core functionality. It brings a host of fixes for all the safety-related issues that have been acknowledged in the earlier version in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.

At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for a smoother and more efficient performance and brings several performance optimizations that eventually lead to a more simplified and optimized experience for the users.

Well, Samsung is already distributing the September security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 owners; thus, they can check out and download the latest version via Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
