US Galaxy S23 Users Received Android 16 Update

After following the global market, Samsung has started releasing the stable One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 update for the Galaxy S23 family in the US.
Basically, the Galaxy S23 series was part of the One UI 8 beta program, and a couple of days ago, the lineup received its first stable One UI 8 build; however, it was limited to South Korea, and then it was followed by the global expansion. Meanwhile, Samsung is distributing the stable version for the devices in the US.
The latest stable firmware for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra carries version numbers S911USQU6EYI7, S916USQU6EYI7, and S918USQU6EYI7, respectively. It’s noticeable that the update is currently available for the Verizon carrier-locked models in the US, while more units across the country will be receiving the update over the course of time.
Samsung’s One UI 8 brings various new and improved UI elements that significantly provide a cleaner, more sophisticated, and more intuitive layout. Since it’s powered by Android 16, it adds several essential features that eventually take the user experience to the next level.
At the same time, the update brings more improved Galaxy AI features, alongside adding upgrades to productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility that offer the best-ever experience to the users via better customizable options, a neater look, and faster performance.
Nevertheless, the stable update further packs the September 2025 security patch in order to focus on improving the device’s overall security, which provides a secure yet stable user experience. Well, the update is now available for the US-based Galaxy S23 series owners; thus, they can now download the latest version via Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
