Samsung is now looking forward to expanding its foldable family in the Chinese market by debuting a brand-new foldable phone, the Galaxy W26 series.
In early Q3 2026, Samsung launched a bunch of new foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, widely including China. Apart from these foldable phones, it is already working on debuting its first-ever multi-folding Galaxy Tri-Fold by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Samsung has released a teaser on its official website, confirming that the new foldable device, which is supposed to be called the Galaxy W26 series, will be unveiled on October 11, 2025.
It’s expected that the company will introduce the Galaxy W26 series exclusively for China, continuing a trend seen with previous W-series smartphones. Previously leaked images revealed that the new foldable will feature a premium design, including a golden frame over a black body, which seems similar to the other China-exclusive foldable phones, including the W25 and W25 Flip.
The official specifications of the device will be revealed soon; however, it’s expected that the device may include customized versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. It will be interesting to see whether the device will have any exclusive features or upgrades compared to the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7.
