Nearly two weeks ago, Samsung began the ongoing One UI 8 update rollout for the Galaxy Tab S10+, which was only limited to South Korea and was then followed by more international countries. Now, the Galaxy Tab S10+ owners can rejoice as the company is finally expanding the update in the US.
Specifically, it’s important to note that the new One UI 8 firmware for the Galaxy Tab S10+ that carries the version number X828USQU4CYI5 is available for the Verizon-locked devices in the US, while it’s expected to reach more carriers over the coming days.
The current software update significantly includes the latest One UI 8 version, which is apparently topped up with the excellence of Android 16 that takes the entire user experience to the next level. It brings new and more refined UI elements with vibrant colors, improved widgets, and enhanced layouts.
At the same time, the update also adds new Galaxy AI features such as a more personalized Now Brief that integrates scheduling reminders, smart home, daily routines, the latest news, and helpful insights from Galaxy Watch for easy access. Also, more AI-powered functions include instant Audio Eraser, Gemini, Best Face, and generative edit.
Other than that, the software integrates the September 2025 security patch that aims to improve the device’s overall security, functionality, and performance, which provides a smoother, more secure, and more efficient user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats with additional safety.
