WhatsApp and Facebook remain the two most popular social media platforms; meanwhile, the latest version seems to significantly improve the interaction with Facebook.
According to the latest report, WhatsApp has just started rolling out a new feature, which will allow users to add Facebook profile links. Also, this ability is currently available to some beta testers, at least for now, and will be extended to all the users publicly over the course of time.
Basically, the latest WhatsApp beta for Android carries version 2.25.29.16 and has been spotted where users will be able to display their Facebook profiles directly on their WhatsApp info page, which makes it easier to connect to their contacts across two different social media platforms.
At the same time, it’s important to note that WhatsApp appears to have started testing the feature publicly, as it’s been spotted for some beta testers, while they reported that the option to display their Facebook profile link is visible on WhatsApp. Once the Facebook link is added, people will easily access and recognize the person across platforms, which further provides a more seamless way to show off the social media connection directly within the user’s WhatsApp profile.
Other than that, users will have the option to verify their account or not. Well, it’s not yet clear exactly when the Facebook profile link will be available in WhatsApp for all the users, but it will happen shortly in the coming weeks as WhatsApp will gradually track and address issues, if any.
