Samsung pauses One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung this time withdrawn the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S23 users, maybe due to stability concerns and unexpected issues.
The Korean tech giant is actively rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for Galaxy devices globally. However, while rolling out the update, it is also removing the update from the OTA server for particular devices. Up to date, it has paused the rollout for several Galaxy smartphones, which are as follows –
However, after a few days, Samsung also resumed the rollout of these devices. Now, Samsung extends the list by adding the Galaxy S23 series. A post on X shared by @Koram_Akhilesh reveals that Samsung has paused the One UI 8 update for Galaxy S23 users.
It seems that maybe the company spotted something that needed fixing, so out of an abundance of caution, it has decided to suspend the rollout until it can make the required fixes.
The exact reason behind this pause hasn’t been revealed yet, but the post mentions that the battery life issue must be one of the reasons. It will be interesting to see how much time Samsung will take to resume the rollout.
